The Men’s National Handball Team is off to Baku Azerbaijan to play the EHF EURO 2026 Qualification Phase 1 Group matches against Azerbaijan, Cyprus and Great Britain over this weekend.
Head Coach Mr. Diogo Castro has selected a mixture of experienced and young players for these three matches.
The squad will be accompanied by Mr Ian Psaila (Vice President / Head of Delegation), Mr. Diogo Castro (Head Coach), Mr Bryan Pace (Coach), Mr Kenneth Hili (Assistant Coach / Team Manager) and Ms Daryl Azzopardi (Physiotherapist).
All matches from the EHF EURO 2026 Qualification Phase 1 Group matches in Azerbaijan, will be shown live on https://ehftv.com/home as per the following schedule (MLT time):
Friday 13 January 2023 – Malta vs Azerbaijan at 2pm.
Saturday 14 January 2023 – Malta vs Cyprus at 11:45am.
Sunday 15 January 2023 – Malta vs Great Britain at 9:45am.
