National teams selections announced
National Coach Bryan Pace has announced two preliminary selections for the senior men and U24 men national teams. All players on the U24 preliminary selection are also eligible for the senior national team selection.
Malta will play the Qualification Phase 1 of the EHF Men’s EURO 2026 between the 13 and 15 of January 2023 against Cyprus, Great Britain and hosts Azerbaijan.
In April / May 2023, the U24 Men’s national selection will take part in the IHF Emerging Nations. The exact dates of the competition and the host nation will be announced in the coming weeks. Malta will play against Bulgaria, Cyprus, Moldova, Great Britain, Azerbaijan and Andorra.
National coach Daniel Tabone has also announced a preliminary selection of players who will start their preparation in the coming weeks.
