The President, acting on the advice of the Malta Handball Association (MHA) Management Board has called for an EGM according to Article 3.3.32. of the Statute which states that “the President, acting on the advice of the Management Board, may convene an Extraordinary General Meeting at any time.”
You are thus informed that the EGM will take place on 29th of May 2026 at 7PM at the MHA Office within the National Pool Complex.
You are also being informed that this EGM includes the election of the roles of President, Vice President, and Secretary General of the MHA. For the avoidance of doubt the electoral process to be followed will be that contained in clause 3.3.18 et seq of the Statute.
In line with the above, Members of the MHA may nominate persons for the above roles by the 10th of May by filling in the MHA Nomination Form which must necessarily be accompanied by the MHA Declaration of Interest (to be filled in by the prospective candidates contesting the election).
These are to be signed in wet ink and received in writing by the Secretary General by no later than the above prescribed date.
