Hamrun Handball Club have been crowned the winners of the 2024/25 Men’s Louis Borg Cup.

Hamrun faced Valletta Handball Club in the final at University Sports Hall on Wednesday night where they won comfortably with a final score of 49-20.

This was the competition’s inaugural season under the new competition structure. Hamrun’s journey in this competition started in the Quarter-Final round of the Knock-Out Cup having been seeded against Swieqi Phoenix Handball Club, losing 43-18. Following their elimination, Hamrun qualified for the Louis Borg Cup Semi-Final against Shooting Stars Handball Academy, beating them 32-21 and securing them a place in the final where they would go on to being crowned Cup Winners.

This is Hamrun’s first Louis Borg Cup title, and their second title for the 2024/25 season.
