Hamrun Handball Club has just been crowned the Senior Men’s Championship
Winners for 2024/25. After defeating Haz-Zebbug Handball Club 44:19, Hamrun
finished on top of the Championship League with 7 wins and 1 defeat.
Their campaign in the 2024/25 Championship League started off with an
undefeated run in the first round, finishing on top with 8 points. Their strong
form continued into the second round, only coming short in Game 7 against
Valletta Handball Club finishing 32:29. They ended their title-winning season
with 14 points.
This Championship marks the team’s 3rd consecutive Championship title, and
the 4th in their history. They now face familiar opponents Valletta HC in the
Louis Borg Cup on Wednesday 2nd April at 20:30 at the Tal-Qroqq University
Sports Hall.
