A wonderful event that took place on the morning of April 1st.

The male and female Handball National Team players visited the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) to express their support and appreciation for the donors.
The visit was a huge success, with both the players and the donors enjoying the opportunity to meet and take photos with each other. Accompanying the players were the technical director, Mr Diogo Castro, Ishem Hocini, Brenda Mamo and the two men’s national team coaches, Mr Joseph Tanti and Mr Matthew Mamo.

This event was a fantastic opportunity to bring our Handball community together for a noble cause and to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation. The Malta Handball Association greatly appreciates the efforts of the Handball National Team and their coaches in supporting this cause.

On behalf of the MHA management team, I would also like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and nurses working at the NBTS, as well as to the senior staff nurse, Ms Caroline Cassar, who approached us with this initiative.
