Swieqi Gasan Mamo Phoenix are the 2024/25 Knock-Out Winners.
A long journey to the title, which saw them claiming victories in Quarter-Finals against Hamrun Handball Club whose score ended 43:18 back in November, and in the Semi-Finals against La Salle Handball Club in February, with the score ending in 38:31.
Yesterday’s final at the SportMalta Ħamrun Pavilion saw Swieqi Phoenix face Kavallieri Handball Club in one of the most exciting finals of the season. A score which could have gone either way in the first 60 minutes, ended 21:21 in normal time. The two sides needed extra time to settle the winner, which saw Swieqi Phoenix claiming the victory in a 27:24 thriller.
This victory marks the team’s first title of the season.
