The Malta Handball Association (MHA) today held a positive and constructive meeting with representatives of Luxol Sports Club in relation to the establishment of a new handball academy aimed at encouraging greater participation among young people and further strengthening the development pathway of handball in Malta.
The meeting focused on the importance of investing in youth programmes, nurturing future talent, and creating sustainable structures that will contribute to the long-term growth of the sport. Both parties discussed opportunities to increase accessibility to handball and foster greater engagement among children and young athletes.
The Malta Handball Association recognises that the future success of Maltese handball depends on the continued development of grassroots initiatives and the establishment of quality academies that provide young players with the opportunity to learn, develop and enjoy the sport from an early age.
